Muhammad Amin Zaki son of late Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail was born in Tehsil, Sadiqabad, Rahimyar Khan on 18 July 1956.His father was attached with agriculture.
He remembers his school days when he used to travel almost 8 miles every day in order to go to school and back. He did his intermediate, FSc from Government College, Rahimyar Khan. Finally after doing MA in political science from University of Punjab in 1998 he started his career by selling life insurance policies and later entered real estate business. He is currently running his own Real Estate office in Gulberg, Lahore.
He entered in students politics from the platform of PSF during college days and was deeply influenced by marxist ideologies. He read Karl Marx and other leftist writers as well as Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maudoodi whom he places extremely high due to his vision and scholarly contributions towards spreading the message of Islam. In his childhood Muhammad Ali boxer was his hero as he used to see the bouts of Ali with great interest.
He likes to read “Daily Jang”, “The News” and Daily Express. Irshad Hussain Haqqani is his favourite columnist. He is extremely fond of watching cricket. On social front his inspired by the devotion and dedication of Abdul Sattar Edhi and his wife Mrs. Bilquis Edhi in bringing about relief to the needy people and efforts of Imran Khan for setting up Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust Hospital which is one of its kind in Asia. He likes Faisalabad as a city and enjoys visiting there.
Muhammad Amin Zaki is one of the founder members of Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf as he joined it on 26th April 1996 on the day of its commencement. To bring social justice in the society is the hallmark of PTI’s struggle and that makes PTI’s manifesto special. He also feels that equal opportunities for all and introduction of similar education system in whole Pakistan is most important for the integration of our society as one nation. Responding to a question as to where do you see Pakistan after 20 years from now, he was clear in his mind that if a system of governance based on social equality and justice is not established soon, it will be not possible to maintain the integrity of our beloved country.
He is inspired with the political struggle of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela for his country. From contemporary world leaders he likes Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías President of Venezuela and Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran and considers them as great leaders.
He is married and has got three daughter who are studying. The elder is doing BBIT from University of Punjab, the second one is about to appear in matric exam and the youngest is studying in class 4. He had two brothers who have passed away and three sisters. After a tiring day he likes to spend time with his family.
